Lebo’s Garage had a humble beginning when David C. Lebo started a small garage and gas pumping station in 1950. From its inception, Lebo’s Garage has always been a family business. David Lebo kept the garage in business for fifty years. He established the small garage and he made it into a auto repair shop, towing business, and car sales lot. Larry Lebo kept the garage going after his father, David C. Lebo, died unexpectantly in 2002.
Larry worked at the garage about as soon as he was old enough to lift the hood on an automobile and pump gas. Larry would help as much as possible. Larry went to Lincoln Tech School in Baltimore right after he graduated from Carlisle High School. Interrupted again from helping his father’s business, Larry was called from the Army to serve in Korea. Since his return, Larry has been a pillar in the community. He is known for his honesty, trust and affordable pricing in the automotive business. Larry was nominated in 2007 and won Carlisle’s Finest in the “Businessman of the Year” category. He has a dedicated list of clientele in the Carlisle area. |
